Teacher’s activities

 Hello. My name is Alla Ivanivna. I live in Horodok. I am a teacher of English. I have been teaching English  for twenty  five years. I am working with the team of creative, talented and enthusiastic teachers. Teaching is the greatest art in the world. A teacher creates the most beautiful masterpieces of his art — he creates a person with his own points of view, his unique inner world.

In my lessons I try to use a lot of activities in which my students express themselves and demonstrate their abilities. I do my best to make creative atmosphere in the lesson, to help overcome obstacles in non-standard way.

I am happy to live in the time when I have the right to make experiments, search and even make mistakes. My motto is: “If you want to achieve success in any matter, never stop and believe in yourself.”

During my lessons I use interactive activities, especially pair/group work that provides an opportunity for students  to practice the language, improves the quality of student’s talk, creates a positive atmosphere, and motivates learners. Real interaction in the classroom requires the teacher to cede a full role to the student in developing and carrying through his(her) activities, to accept all kinds of opinions, to be tolerant of errors the student makes while attempting to communicate.

Communication, which derives essentially from interaction, remains a central goal and challenge for language teachers nowadays. That is why I always think over my activities to elevate my student’s interest, curiosity, to arouse their imagination. I must maintain a lively attention and active participation among students, cultivate my devotion to a particular approach.
